Section 2: OOC Rules and Regulations
We are a ROLEPLAY Community. Rentals and the day-to-day will be affected by roleplay without warning. If you do not wish to deal with sim-wide events or weather-related incidents, we may not be the fit for you. If you wish to OBSERVE a roleplay or an event, wear an OOC tag or titler indicating such.
Section 2.1 Basic OOC Regulations
- Your SecondLife account MUST be at least 30 days of age.
- Moderate Linden Labs (LL) rules MUST be observed.
- Disputes/Complaints? Contact an ADMIN. You possess the burden of proof via SCREENSHOTS of logs and photographic evidence. NO copy and paste permitted!
- OOC drama, bullying, overt rudeness, and entitlement have no place.
- OOC dialogue/behavior considered offensive/inflammatory will not be tolerated.
- Messaging ANY renter about their rental is PROHIBITED. Contact a Realtor!
- Asking for Lindens is NOT permitted, be it privately, in our groups, or on Discord!
- DO NOT cam into residential dwellings. Try knocking ICly on the door instead.
- We provide RP signs for rentals. No RP sign? DO NOT enter. READ sign information!
- Voice is available on individually PARCELED residential properties and MUST be contained in the parcel. There is to be NO harassing on voice.
- Voice is NOT a recognized form or RP in Cedar Creek. We are TEXT-BASED!
- Flying is disabled and prohibited for visitors, tourists, citizens, and residents.
- Military-grade weapons and vehicles are NOT permitted OOCly or ICly.
- When an RP is taking place, keep OOC comments in double parentheses (( )) and to a MINIMUM. Take them to IMs if possible.
Section 2.2 Object/Prim Rezzing Rules
- Rezzing in public is limited to 100 prims for CURRENT use only. This includes vehicles.
- Rezzing by residents must be within the limits of prims rented AND rental space.
- Rezzed items must be in agreement with the sim theme and period.
- Quality mesh objects are preferred. Items not fitting may be subject to removal.
- Avatars with complexities that result in lag, will be asked to fix it or leave the area.
- Breedables are not permitted. Fantasy creatures are not permitted. Aged out/retired pets can be set out but MUST be realistic.
- Animesh pets and children are permitted. If lag results, they will be returned.
- Prims rezzed in RP areas are subject to return without notice if left unattended.
